3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks and Nightdive are working on SiN Remake

A few days ago, Nightdive Studios released a Gold version of SiN on Steam. And yesterday, 3D Realms’ VP Frederik Schreiber has revealed that 3D Realms, Slipgate Iron and Nightdive are working on a SiN Remake.

Oh did I mention that we’re doing a proper Sin Remake with Nightdive?

Now while Schreiber did not reveal any additional details, he did share a while back a screenshot from a cancelled SiN sequel. SiN 2 was in development in 2003, however, it never saw the light of day.

Today we showed off a bunch of prototypes from @SlipgateIron from the past few years (And one really old one from Ritual!) Motherflakker ("Ion Fury 2001"), Techno Cop, Rad Rodgers 2, Bombshell ("Time to Kill") and SiN 2 (2003)

In other news, Schreiber also shared some more screenshots from Motherflakker. Motherflakker was a new first-person shooter using the Unreal Engine. That game featured “2001 visuals” and 3D Realms may revive it in the future.

Yesterday, we teased a cancelled @SlipgateIron prototype from last year called "Motherflakker" (Ion Fury IP, 2001 visuals).

The reception has been overwhelming!

Retweet if you want to see this game become a reality.
