Newsbrief: Chris and Ryan Campbell are brothers, coders, and cofounders of Wufoo, a software company that was acquired by SurveyMonkey in 2011. Now they're seeking to add 'game developers' to that list, and to stay motivated they've started a public sibling rivalry -- The One Year Game Dev Duel. The winner of the duel, which kicks off next month, is the brother who -- with $25,000 in capital -- manages to make the most profitable game after a year of development time and six months of marketing time. The pair will be documenting their forays into game development on their respective websites in the interest of informing and encouraging other would-be game makers, and during the competition they expect to be reaching out to the community for contributions -- including potential contract opportunities for sound design, artwork and other assets.
