Newsbrief: A group of former NIS America executives have launched a new independent game publisher in Los Angeles, with a focus on digital content distribution. Acttil is Jack Niida, Hiroko Kanazashi, and Nao Miyazawa -- previously NIS America's producer, VP of production, and VP of marketing respectively. The company is targeting a wide range of platforms, including PC, consoles, web, and mobile. Alongside its publishing strategy, the startup is offering independent developers help with marketing, analytics, monetization, feedback and sales plans. The company can also provide localization services. NIS America published games from parent company -- Gifu, Japan-based Nippon Ichi Software -- in North America and Europe, as well as commissioning original titles for Western markets and localizing Japanese titles from other publishers. While the new company has not announced any specific plans, more information can be found on the Acttil website. It contains basic information on the company in both English and Japanese.
