Newsbrief: >Adr1ft, the game prototype from Adam Orth inspired by the waves of abuse he received following comments about Xbox One's (since canceled) always-online requirement, has found a publisher. Orth revealed his demo for a non-violent first-person game earlier this year: A game about dealing with the aftermath of a destructive calamity, which is -- to hear Orth tell it -- what his life was like in the aftermath of his unconsidered comment. Now Orth and his team Three One Zero has found a publisher for the game in 505 Games, the company that has previously published titles like Payday 2 and Terraria. Polygon reports that the game has been renamed to simply Adrift, and is destined for PC, consoles and "VR platforms."
