The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has announced the winners of its annual scholarship program, awarded by academy's philanthropic arm, the AIAS Foundation.

Each year four recipients are awarded a cut of the $10,000  Randy Pausch and Mark Beaumont Scholarship Funds, however, this year, each winner will also receive a complimentary pass to the 2016 D.I.C.E. Summit and 19th D.I.C.E. Awards show.

This year's winners, Sumeet Khobare, Lauren Scanlan, Debanshu Singh, and Ryan Sligh, have each been granted a $2,500 share of the fund, with Don Daglow, president of 4thRing Inc. and AIAS Foundation president, commending the group's shared commitment towards "building great games."

"Their interests, specialties, schools and career plans are all very different, but they share a commitment to building great games in our constantly growing and evolving creative industry," said Daglow.

"I am excited to see where their professional journeys bring them, and the exciting products they will in turn help bring to the world."
