Anthem won’t support crossplay at launch, Chromatic Aberration option, enemies can fight each other

Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of Anthem, has been answering a lot of questions regarding Anthem on Twitter lately. And yesterday, Darrah stated that this new multiplayer game will not support cross-play between PC, Xbox One and PS4 at launch.

Now this could mean that Bioware is experimenting with the idea of crossplay and may add it via a post-launch patch. Or at least that’s what Darrah implies with his comment.

Darrah has also confirmed that there will be a Chromatic Aberration setting that gamers will be able to enable or disable. As we’ve said multiple times, we find Chromatic Aberration to be one of the most useless post-processing effects so it’s at least good knowing that there is an option to turn it off.

Darrah has also stated that there will be enemies in Anthem that will fight each other, similarly – perhaps – to games like Doom in which different type of enemies could fight each other.

Last but not least, EA has confirmed that a new trailer for Anthem will be released next week at the Video Games Award 2018!
