Gamera Game has announced a new action RPG, Arise of Awakener. When I first heard about this game, I thought it was another Souls-like game. However, it appears that the game is inspired by Dragon’s Dogma, and not by the Dark Souls games.
As its official description reads:
“Arise of Awakener is a single-player, open-map action role-playing game set in a fantasy world based upon medieval Europe. In this world, players will ride dragons, command airships, and partake in engaging combat encounters against a collection of fantastical creatures as they take on the role of an adventurer and embark on a path of revenge and redemption.”
Arise of Awakener will release in 2023. So yeah, don’t expect to be playing it anytime soon. Still, you can find below its debut gameplay trailer.
