Ever since Telltale Games was shut down in October of last year, the future of their series was thought to have died with the then defunct company. It was in August of this year when Telltale Games made a surprising comeback, after the company was saved by veteran video game entrepreneurs Jamie Ottilie and Brian Waddle.
Now, the company has already been working on some new projects — like the recently announced The Wolf Among Us 2 — and have also begun breathing some new life into already existing series they have previously worked on; such is the case of Batman: The Telltale Series.
Today, Telltale Games has released a brand-new trailer for Batman: The Telltale Series - Shadows Edition, which brings with it new DLC and gives an all-new, and sinister look to the same story fans have come to love; a new look that proudly embraces the Noir style that is so fitting to the Dark Knight.
Telltale Games has also revealed that Batman: The Telltale Series - Shadows Edition is available today for the Xbox one and on Steam; the PlayStation 4 version will become available on the 20th of December, while the Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store versions of it will be releasing in a yet-to-be-determined date in the near future.
It is also worth mentioning that players who already own the Batman: The Telltale Series base game can get the Shadows Mode as a stand-alone DLC for only $4.99USD. Those who still don't own the base game, can purchase Batman: The Telltale Series - Shadows Edition for $29.99 USD.
