Bruce Campbell confirms a new Evil Dead game that is currently under development for consoles and PC

Bruce Campbell, the man portraying Ash Williams in the Evil Dead movies and series, has confirmed a new Evil Dead game. According to Campbell, this Evil Dead game is developed for consoles and PC, and will not be a VR title.

Hey, groovy gamers, this is a swell time to clarify some incorrect info that might be out there (including from me!): the upcoming Evil Dead video game is being developed for consoles and PC, not VR. Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details about this Evil Dead game. We don’t know when it will come out, whether it will target a 2019 or a 2020 release, or whether it will come out on current-gen or next-gen platforms.

Our guess is that we are looking at a 2020 release for current-gen systems. On the other hand, the game has not been officially announced yet so this may turn out to be a double-A or a small budget title.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted so stay tuned for more!
