During yesterday's special PlayStation 5 presentation, Capcom was one of the developers that took the opportunity to unveil a couple of games for the next generations of consoles; one of them was Resident Evil Village, and the other a brand-new inellectual property.
Pragmata is Capcom's brand-new IP unveiled to the world, and the announcement trailer itself was a rather interesting one, since it felt like it could've easily been a project by renowned director Hideo Kojima — especially since the game looked somewhat similr to Kojim's critically acclaimed Death Stranding.
The announcement trailer for Pragmata doesn't give away too many details about the game, but a recent post on the Capcom's official Capcom Unity website has revealed that its story is set in a dystopian near-future that takes place on Earth's moon — which makes things even more intriguing, considering that we see a girl that has no problem being there without a space suit.
Capcom also reveals that thanks to their next-gen technology, they ill be able to create a breathtaking an immersice sci-fi setting, and if we go by the trailer they've put out, it is safe to say that they have done a wonderful job so far.
Pragmata still doesn't have an official release dte, but Capcom mentions that it will become available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC at some point in 2022 — while also reassuing players that more information about this game will be shared in 2021.
Today Capcom has also released an extended cut of the phenomenal announcement trailer for Pragmata, so be sure to check both of them down below, and let us know your thoughts on Capcom's intriguing new intellectual property.
