Newsbrief: Capcom has released its financial results for its fiscal year, ended March 31, 2014. While the company turned a profit -- up 15.9 percent from the prior year -- it suffered some significant setbacks, too. Revenues increased 8.6 year-over-year to 102.2 billion yen ($1 billion) with profits of 3.4 billion yen ($33.5 million.) Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) continued to be a strong success for the company. The IP's strength even extended to its pachinko/slot machine business, which was bolstered by the introduction of an MH-themed unit. On the other hand, its mobile business continues to flag, something it warned investors about last month, when it cut its earnings forecast dramatically. The release states that "mobile contents struggled as a whole due in part to lack of major titles and the fiercely competitive environment."
