In June of last year, developer Ministry of Broadcast Studios announced that they were working on Ministry of Broadcast, which is a cinematic platformer inspired by classic platformer titles like Jordan Mechner's original Prince of Persia.
The game is also based on the Nineteen Eighty-Four series of books written by English novelist George Orwell; as such, the game is also quite political in nature, and it also gives the game a very sci-fi kind of vibe.
Ministry of Broadcast was initially revealed to release for the Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows at a then yet-to-be-determined date in 2020. Since then, the Windows version has already been released, and the game was actually pretty well received by players and ciritcs.
Today the developers have shared a new trailer for Ministry of Broadcast, as the game has finally become available for the Nintendo Switch today, and players can purchase it from the eShop for $14.99 USD. A Physical copy of the game has been announced, but is expected to release on the 26th of May; pre-orders currently available via Best Buy.

Seemingly built overnight, The Wall has divided both a country in two and a man from his family. To see them again, our ginger-haired protagonist has decided to become a contestant on “The Wall Show”, a Regime-organized TV show allowing competitors the opportunity to escape to freedom on the other side. However, as he progresses through the camp, our contestant soon realizes exactly how the Regime and the show operate. The promise of freedom is not exactly what it seems.
