Supercell's competitive tower defense title Clash Royale has been named Apple's Game of the Year.
The Clash of Clans spin-off has been branded the best game of 2016 by the iPhone maker, beating the likes of Reigns, INKS, and FIFA Mobile to the punch.
All of the above did however manage to nab a spot on Apple's 10 Best Games of the Year list, and are joined by Klocki, Rodeo Stampede, PKTBALL, Crashlands, Leap Day, and The Trail.
Niantic's augmented reality effort Pokemon Go took home the Breakout Hit award, and ranked alongside Clash of Clans, Candy Crush Saga Game of War, Marvel Contest of Champions, Clash Royale, and others on the annual Top Grossing list.
