Newsbrief: Following restructuring efforts at racing game specialist Codemasters, the studio's majority share holder has upped the number of shares that it owns in the company. Indian gaming firm Reliance originally took a 50 percent stake in Codemasters back in 2010. As of this month, Reliance now owns 60.41 percent of shares in Codemasters, according to documents seen by the Telegraph. This moves comes as Balderton Capital, a private equity firm that has invested in other game companies including Wooga, has reduced its stake in Codemasters to 39.59 percent. Codemasters had a troubling 2012, including a period in which it claims it accidentally overpaid laid off staffers.
