Darksiders II fails to knock Sleeping Dogs from top of UK charts

Newsbrief: Vigil Games and THQ's Darksiders II launched in the UK last week, but it wasn't able to knock Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs from the top spot, instead settling for second place. This was despite the fact that Darksiders II sold 80 percent more units in its first week than its predecessor, while Sleeping Dogs saw a 15 percent drop in sales week-over-week. The only other new release in the top 40 last week was Activision Blizzard's third-person shooter Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which managed to climb to position five.
