Dataminers Discover Aquaman Villain "Black Manta" Will Be Coming To FORTNITE On June 16th

Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 3 began back in June. The latest season revolves around water and aquatics, even going so far as to introduce a skin based on the DC Comics character Aquaman.

Similarly, Epic Games recently added an official Captain America skin to Fortnite. However, that skin was more so added in celebration of Independence Day rather than the whole aquatics theme.

Nonetheless, it seems that even more comic book superhero content is coming to Fortnite in the near future.

Dataminers, specifically one who goes by the name HYPEX, recently uncovered evidence within the game's files which suggests that the Aquaman villain called "Black Manta" will be coming to Fortnite soon.

Black Manta is effectively Aquaman's arch-nemesis — besides his brother Orm, better known as Ocean Master.

According to the dataminers, Black Manta and his blades will be available in the Item Shop on June 16th.

What's more, another Aquaman character will reportedly be available in the store at that time.

Who could that be? Well, Ocean Master and Hera are our best guesses.
