Newsbrief: Dear Esther lead designer Robert Briscoe is leaving the indie developer life behind, confirming a move to Valve. In a blog post, the artist and designer explained that "an increasing feeling of isolation" over the last couple of years pushed him away from the indie lifestyle, and starting from March 20, he will be working for Valve in Seattle. This will be Briscoe's return to AAA development -- he was previously a level artist at DICE. He noted that the Unity port of Dear Esther is mostly done, with only a few boxes to tick. More in Briscoe's blog post.
