Project Horseshoe, an invitation-only think-tank style conference that aims to address the challenges of modern game design, has published its official 2015 report

Last year's meet-up took place at a secluded Texas inn from November 5-8, and brought together a number of industry names including Steve Swink, game designer at Cubeheart Games; Quantic Foundry co-founder, Nick Yee; and Payoff's motivational designer, Tim Fowers.

A number of topics were up for discussion, and during their self-imposed three-day seclusion the group explored the ins and outs of mature game design, artificial intelligence and quantum computing, metagame systems, and augmented reality as a entertainment destination.

The full series of reports, which also cover topics such as communicative game design practices and subversive game design, can be found on the Project Horseshoe website.
