Newsbrief: As Valve explores new ways to generate additional excitement for its Dota 2 eSports endeavours, the company is today launching a "virtual book" that aims to complement the upcoming Dota 2 tournament. The International Interactive Compendium provides spectators with up-to-date stats on the tournament, and methods for competing with other viewers by predicting match outcomes. By watching the tournament, spectators will also be provided with in-game items for their own Dota 2 matches. Notably, 25 percent of the revenue taken from the sale of the Compendium will be added onto the $1.6 million prize pool for The International competition. More information can be found on the Dota 2 blog.
