E3 Golf Tournament to Raise Money for Child's Play Charity

Those heading to Los Angeles a couple days early for E3 might want to consider spending their Sunday on the green, as the ESA has organized the first annual Child's Play Invitational Golf Tournament. The event will be held Sunday, June 5th at The Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. Entry costs $150 (or $175 if you need to rent clubs) and includes greens fees, cart rental, a boxed lunch, beverages, an awards ceremony/barbecue dinner, and a gift bag. "Child’s Play is very close to our hearts and we've received a generous outpouring of support over the years from the entire video game community," said Child's Play's Robert Khoo. "We look forward to making the first annual golf tournament a huge success." All proceeds from the event will go directly toward partner hospitals and facilities in the Child's Play network, enabling them to stock up on games for hospitalized children to play.
