EA Mobile and Harmonix Music Systems have released Rock Band Reloaded, a new entry in the popular band simulation franchise for the iPhone and iPod Touch. An enhanced iPad version is also available. In addition to offering a new setlist of playable songs, Rock Band Reloaded introduces a vocal recognition feature, allowing players to sing into an attached or built-in microphone in order to be judged on pitch and timing. Rock Band Reloaded also offers touch-based guitar, bass, drums, and vocals gameplay previously featured in 2009's Rock Band for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Players may team up with bandmates via a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection for cooperative multiplayer gameplay. Other new features include an "expert" difficulty level for advanced players, an option for landscape-oriented gameplay, and an iPad-exclusive head-to-head competitive multiplayer mode. "Rock Band Reloaded is the experience fans have been waiting for, innovating on the popular franchise and bringing the entire band onto the iPad and iPhone for the first time," said Travis Boatman, Vice President of Worldwide Studios for EA Mobile. "These games bring a deep Rock Band experience to mobile players in very cool and creative new ways.
