Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have been delayed to fiscal 2020-2021

Ubisoft has announced that both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have been delayed. Far Cry 6 was originally coming out in February 2021, whereas Rainbow Six Quarantine was targeting a fiscal 2020-2021 release. However, both of them are delayed to fiscal year 2021-2022.

What this means is that they will now release after April 2021 and before March 2022.

This doesn’t really surprise us as we haven’t seen any gameplay footage for Far Cry 6 at all. Hell, the only thing we’ve got was these initial screenshots and nothing more.

As for Rainbow Six Quarantine… well, after its previous delay in October 2019, we really haven’t heard anything about it. Perhaps this game is in development hell or Ubisoft does not want to compete – at least for now – against its other Rainbow Six game, Rainbow Six Siege.

For what it’s worth, Immortals Fenyx Rising and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake will hit their release dates!
