Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.3 "The Promise of Tomorrow" Brings Raids, Deep Dungeons, and Major Story Content in August 2025
Square Enix has officially revealed the next major update for Final Fantasy XIV Online, Patch 7.3: "The Promise of Tomorrow," during the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast hosted by Naoki Yoshida. Slated for early August 2025, the patch promises a substantial influx of new content, including alliance raids, dungeons, trials, crafting updates, PvP additions, and more.

- Main Scenario Quests - Advancing the central narrative post-Dawntrail.
- Alliance Raid: Echoes of Vana'diel, Part 2 - San d'Oria: The Second Walk - The next chapter in the Final Fantasy XI-inspired crossover raid series.
- Dungeon: The Meso Terminal - A new dungeon challenge.
- New Trial (Normal & Extreme Modes) - A new boss fight experience.
- Deep Dungeon: Pilgrim’s Traverse - A fresh roguelike-style dungeon for those craving randomized danger.
- Unreal Trial: The Wreath of Snakes (Unreal) - A level 100 rematch against Seiryu, one of the Four Lords.
- Cosmic Exploration Update - A new planet, Phaenna, added for crafters and gatherers.
