Fortnite has surpassed 7 million players

Epic Games has announced that over 7 million gamers have played Fortnite on all platforms. While the team did not clarify which percentage of them is exclusively playing the free-to-play mode, Battle Royale, we do know that more than one million gamers have played it on its first day.

Thanks to over 7 million of you who have played Fortnite! We want to keep the Battle Bus flying, so Duos and Supply Drops are available NOW. pic.twitter.com/sRx767u4aG

Epic Games has also confirmed that the new Horde Bash update will be launched this Thursday.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is a PvP mode for Fortnite that puts 100-players on a giant map with destructible environments, where they’ll combine their Fortnite building and combat skills to be the last one standing.
