Newsbrief: Epic Games has been teasing the industry about the upcoming Unreal Engine 4 for some time, but until now, the studio's kept quiet about any actual products that will use the much-anticipated tech. That all changed at the San Diego Comic-Con today, when Epic announced that Fortnite, its upcoming co-op survival game, is coming exclusively to the PC (at least for now), and will be the first game from the studio to leverage Unreal Engine 4. Unlike Epic's action titles like Gears of War or Unreal Tournament, Fortnite boasts a minimalistic, cartoon-like style, and encourages players to explore, salvage equipment, and build their own structures to fight off hordes of monsters. As of this writing, Epic has yet to confirm the game's business model or target release window.
