Newsbrief: San Francisco-based start-up Forge, Inc. has unveiled Forge, a free HD video capture service that offers PC users a simple, streamlined way to record and share gameplay clips instantaneously.

Currently available in beta form on Windows, Forge automatically records and stores all gameplay once a game has been booted up, allowing players to edit and share 5-30 second video clips on Twitter, Facebook, or the Forge network without ever having to exit their game.

Forge is the brainchild of Jared Kim, the founder of social gaming discovery start-up WeGame, which was acquired by Tagged in 2011
