Newsbrief: With China's 14-year ban on game consoles lifted, two major companies are getting together to introduce a new console in the region, according to a Bloomberg report. Chinese telecommunications equipment company ZTE is partnering with online game publisher and developer The9 on a new Tegra 4-based game console, dubbed the "Fun Box," due to release this month exclusively in China. It will include 2GB of RAM and be Bluetooth and wi-fi enabled, enabling the console to stream video as well. The Fun Box announcement comes following The9 and ZTE's partnership to enter the SmartTV business.
