Gamasutra has debuted a new Twitter job feed and Facebook page, based around all updates to its industry-leading jobs board, as the current 'best of' Twitter job feed hits almost 6,000 followers. Specifically created for those wanting to see the hundreds of new positions in the video game industry added every month on Gamasutra's leading job page, the new Gama_Jobs All Twitter feed is now live, spanning approximately 10-20 daily job postings from all over the game biz. It joins the existing 'best of' Gamasutra job feed, which has thousands of followers for its less-updating highlights of positions from leading studios in the game industry, recently spanning companies from Capcom Vancouver through Ngmoco through Zenimax Online and beyond. In addition, a new Facebook page specifically for Gamasutra jobs also lists each of the new job openings in real-time, picked from over one hundred different game studios monthly. The publishers of Gamasutra have also revealed that a survey of the site's job postings in late 2010 saw each individual job posting page viewed an average of 665 times. The most popular job in that time period was viewed over 1800 times, and there were 184 attempted applications for it. In addition, every month, a synopsis of all available jobs is viewed over 125,000 times on Gamasutra and its various network sites thanks to job page indexes - with massive additional exposure from daily and weekly newsletters, Twitter, Facebook pages and RSS feeds. Information on posting game industry jobs to Gamasutra is available via this JoinTheGameNetwork.com page, with individual 'do it yourself' postings and bulk job postings all currently available. Overall, these Gamasutra job board feeds join the traditional, highly-trafficked editorial feeds for Gamasutra, which include a main Twitter feed with almost 20,000 followers, plus a well-read Facebook page and RSS page also accessible.
