In the latest postings over the last seven days, Gamasutra's jobs board plays host to roles in every major discipline, including opportunities at Blizzard, Harmonix, Sony Computer Entertainment America, and others. Each position posted by employers will appear on the main Gamasutra job board, and appear in the site's daily and weekly newsletters, reaching our readers directly. It will also be cross-posted for free across Gamasutra's network of submarket sites, which includes content sites focused on independent games and more. Some of the notable jobs posted this week include: Sony Computer Entertainment America: Systems Software Engineer - Gaming: "SCEA is currently looking for a highly talented Lead Systems Engineer that will act as an industry expert and a leader in systems level development on PlayStation platforms. This individual should be able to lead a team of engineers to handle various low-level systems issues, foster and strengthen relationships with various internal groups to leverage existing technologies, and collaborate with industry-leading developers." Activision: Game Integration Engineer: "We're looking for a Game Integration Engineer who loves to explore cutting edge technologies and take on technical challenges involving scaling and performance optimization. The Game Integration Engineer will work with back end web developers to define appropriate client interfaces for online services, build client libraries for those services and work with Activision internal game development studios to incorporate online functionality." Harmonix: Quality Assurance Director: "Harmonix is seeking a battle-tested QA Director with the ability and passion to re-imagine quality practices, as well as build a world-class quality organization. The ideal candidate will have mastery of QA methodologies, strong leadership skills, and feel comfortable communicating across departments." Sony Computer Entertainment America - Santa Monica: Senior Staff Programmer: "Sony Santa Monica is seeking a senior gameplay/generalist programmer to join the team behind the critically acclaimed 'God of War' games. In this gameplay generalist role you work on the technologies that the designers, artists, and other contents creators use to bring life to our games. Systems worked on may include animation, locomotion, navigation, combat and weapons, sound, instancing, scripting, and many more." Blizzard Entertainment: Game Director: "Stay a while and listen! Blizzard Entertainment is questing for a Game Director with the combined skills of a Barbarian, Witchdoctor, Demon Hunter, Monk, and Wizard. This candidate must have the power to carry the soul stone to ends of the earth rallying all heroic players across the globe to its protection. This Dark Wanderer must have conquered the shipment of AAA game titles and have the maximum level of experience in creative direction." Nintendo of America: CONTRACT - Software Support Engineer: "Description of Duties: To provide technical support to a group of authorized developers working on a unique and new platform for Nintendo Wii U system."
