Newsbrief: The latest update to GOG Galaxy, Gog.com's digital distribution client - pitched as a DRM-free alternative to Steam - will give users the ability to wind back the clock and uninstall any unwanted updates.

First unveiled when GOG Galaxy was announced last year, the 1.1 update will finally make 'rollbacks' a reality.

According to GOG, the new feature is, above all else, an insurance policy.

"Sometimes game updates break things," explained the firm. "The Rollback feature [allows] you to restore your game to any earlier version just a single click. Game updates are now not just optional, but also reversible."
