Newsbrief: Rockstar Games has been forced to disable microtransactions in Grand Theft Auto Online, as the online component to GTA V continues to cause issues for players days after release. GTA Online launched on October 1, and comes as part of the GTA V package. Players reported experiencing massive stability problems with the title from the get-go, and 48 hours later, these problems have not subsided. In a bid to steady the servers, Rockstar has chosen to turn off the option of purchasing real-money cash packs for the online game. Details regarding which issues have been resolved and which are likely to cause more havoc can be found on the Rockstar blog.
