HALO: Master Chief Makes The Jump To Live-Action In The New First Look Trailer For The Paramount+ TV Series

On the verge of the franchise's twentieth anniversary, Xbox's most iconic and popular first-person shooter, Halo is coming to television screens with an official series set to debut in early 2022 exclusively via the Paramount+ streaming service.

Naturally, the series is set during the 26th-century war between the United Nations Space Command, better known as U.N.S.C., and the alien Covenant.

John-117, better known as Master Chief, leads the charge for humanity.

Pablo Schreiber stars as Master Chief himself; Jen Taylor reprises the role of Cortana.

The cast also includes Natascha McElhone, Charlie Murphy, Shabana Azmi, Bokeem Woodbine, and Kate Kennedy, among others.

Directors include Otto Bathurst, Jonathan Liebesman, M. J. Bassett, Roel Reiné, and Jet Wilkinson; Steven Spielberg is among the executive producers.

During The Game Awards ceremony last night, we got our best look yet at the upcoming series in the form of an official first look trailer. The series is looking to be incredibly faithful to the source material.
