Hawken publisher Meteor receives $10M in funding

Newsbrief: Meteor Entertainment, the publisher behind upcoming mech-battler Hawken, has raised $10 million in a new series of funding. The game is currently being developed by Meteor's development subsidiary company Adhesive Games, and is due to be released in December of this year. Investors in the round of funding included Benchmark Capital and FirstMark Capital, according to Venturebeat. Meteor plans to use the money to expand the Hawken universe, with graphic novels, videos and even a feature film.
