Paradox Interactive has announced that its historical grand strategy game, Europa Universalis V, will be released on November 4th. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new trailer, as well as the game’s PC requirements.
Europa Universalis V will build on the franchise’s core concept idea. It will let players grow and guide nations through a world based on real history. The game will add better diplomacy, a smarter economy system, and an improved military system. It will also include deeper logistics, making battles and planning more challenging, even for expert strategy players.
The game will let you choose from hundreds of nations. Along the way, you’ll face real historical events and challenges, but your choices will shape a new and unique history. Players can explore alternate timelines, bringing their own vision of the world to life. You might work to keep peace at home, negotiate tricky situations with other nations, or conquer new lands to grow your empire and expand your borders.
To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen equivalent CPU with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 580. The devs recommend using an Intel Core i7-14700K or AMD Ryzen equivalent CPU with 32GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. Sadly, we don’t know the graphics settings, resolution, and framerates these PC specs target.
