HITMAN now has more than 5 million players

IO Interactive has announced that HITMAN has surpassed 5 million players. This is definitely great news for the studio, so it will be interesting to see whether this game will be able to hit the 6 million goal in its lifetime, and whether the team will keep supporting HITMAN in 2018.

Back in June, IO Interactive announced that it has acquired the full rights of the HITMAN franchise from Square Enix, and that it is now an independent studio. Not only that, but IO Interactive released an update for HITMAN in June that completely removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
