A new video has surfaced showing Microsoft program manager Varun Mani using HoloLens to stream and play Halo 5 on a holographic screen.

The impressive demonstration highlights how the headset could be used to let Xbox One owners play games - and potentially access other apps - without the need for a TV.

Although the video doesn't reveal how Mani enables streaming, those of you willing to shell out $3000 for the HoloLens Development Edition should be able to find out early next year.
