What to Know
- Open the main menu button and go to Settings > Privacy & security > Site settings > JavaScript.
- To turn off JavaScript for every site, choose Don't allow sites to use JavaScript.
- To disable it for specific sites only, select Add next to Not allowed to use JavaScript.

Opera has two settings related to JavaScript. Follow these steps to disable JavaScript across all sites or pick specific websites that aren't allowed to use it.

Select the O in the corner to open the menu, then choose Settings.

Select Privacy & security on the left, then Site settings on the right.

Select JavaScript.

Choose Don't allow sites to use JavaScript to block it on all web pages. Or, for fine control over which sites are allowed to use JavaScript, select Add next to the Now Allowed or Allowed section and specify the URL.
