A few months ago, I tested a pair of Kospet Tank Ultra smartwatches and found them to be pretty compelling for their $150 price point. Since then, I acquired two new Kospet smartwatches: the Magic P10 and R10 , and after a few weeks of running, rowing, and exercising with them, I'm impressed with their performance and similarly agreeable price of $160.

These two new flagship models have the same key internal specs and functionality, but different in their square and round form factors. Personally, I prefer the slightly larger square form factor as it seems to rest on my wrist better than the round R10, but it's totally a matter of personal preference.

The watches feature dual-band, multi-GNSS for location tracking, which has proven to be very accurate in my testing. In fact, it compares well to my Garmin Venu X1 -- one of my favorite smartwatches I've used.
In terms of biometrics, heart rate tracking so far is better than it was on the Tank Ultra watches, but GPS battery life is about half, with the new Magic P10 and R10 watches getting around 18 hours on one charge. That's still plenty of battery power for most people, and in typical usage you can get away with charging the watch every two weeks.
In addition to improved heart rate tracking, firmware updates have come out much faster on the Magic series, taking a few minutes to upgrade to the latest software every few days.
The watch's interface is intuitive and easy to use, as it supports navigation with screen taps, swipes, and spinning the digital crown to cycle through metrics and different features. This includes utilities for workouts, sleep tracking, step counting, stress, weather, calculator, and much more.
One feature I appreciate is how you can initiate calls and your smartphone's voice assistant from the watch thanks to the speaker and microphone. You can also control your phone's camera and use the Kospet Magic P10/R10 to locate your lost phone. If you have a connected Android phone, you can also send up to five custom reply text messages right from the watch.

The Kospet Fit smartphone companion app has been replaced by the new Apexmove app, available for iOS and Android. Overall, the app is an improvement, as Apexmove is not as overwhelming as the Kospet Fit app and provides a very easy to use interface with separate tabs to view your selected watch data on cards.
You can also manage your training plans, view workout records, initiate a workout on the map, and fully manage the watch and your smartphone experience via the app's easy to use interface.
Connections with Apple Health, Samsung Health, Google Health, and Strava are available in the Apexmove smartphone application. There are a large number of available watch faces to select from in the Apexmove watch face store, but other third party applications are not available.

Kospet continues to impress with its smartwatch offerings that punch far higher than their sub-$200 price would suggest. Functional straps are also available from Kospet for around $16 to $20 so you can dress your watch up for a night out or customize the look to match your style.
The Kospet Magic P10 and R10 are perfect entry-level watches for those who want to explore wearable technology without committing to an expensive watch they may not wear for longer than a few weeks.
