Newsbrief: Valve is rolling out in-game purchases for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitive community. Dubbed "the Arms Deal Update," the new feature will facilitate in-game sale, purchase and trade of weapons, as well as rare weapon cases. The items can also be sold through the Steam Marketplace. As per usual, Valve takes a cut from each transaction. Additionally, Valve is selling an item dubbed the "eSports Weapon Case," which will channel part of the proceeds to prize purses at future live eSports events. Valve notes in the update's FAQ that it is working to bring Steam Workshop integration to CS:GO's marketplace, to allow users to make and sell their own weapon customizations. "We're working on shipping that feature as soon as possible," the FAQ confirms.
