Former PlayStation CEO Jack Tretton’s game investment fund Interactive Gaming Ventures has teamed up with Epic Games to support the development of interesting indie games being made with Epic’s Unreal Engine 4.

The partnership should be of particular interest to UE4 developers hoping to solicit funding without ceding control of their intellectual property in the process, especially if those developers are looking to ship first on PC.

Interactive Gaming Ventures is looking to invest in two to three experienced indie devs per year over the next seven years, with each investment falling between $1 million to $5 million per project.

Developers supported by this initiative will receive funding for milestone deliverables as well as assistance with promotion and distribution. Specifically, the company is looking for developers planning to bring a game to PC first and console or mobile later on.

Interested devs can reach out to Interactive Gaming Ventures through its website for more information.
