In August of last year, Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku announced Yakuza 7, which is actually a spin-off title that introduces not only a new main character, but is also introducing role-playing elements in the form of turn-based combat; a bold move that the developers are actually quite confident in.
Yakuza 7 was then renamed to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and it was officially announced to release here in the West at some point this year. The developers have also revealed that the game will be releasing on the PlayStation 4, although new information suggests that the game will not be an exclusive title.
According to information revealed by a database listing, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will not be a PlayStation 4 exclusive, as it is also seemingly releasing on Steam. More information about this release was not revealed.
Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku have been releasing a bunch of Yakuza titles on Steam, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see that Yakuza: Like a Dragon could also be considered to release on Steam.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon was released in Japan earlier this January, so it is very likely that the game's localisation could include a Steam release. This is still unofficial information, so we'll have to wait for an official announcement from Ryū ga Gotoku or Sega.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon introduces a new main protagonist for the first time since the series’ inception over a decade ago — Ichiban Kasuga, a low-level yakuza member looking to prove his self-worth, and follows him and his motley crew of unlikely allies as they attempt to rise from rags to riches in this modern human drama.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is expected to release for the PlayaStation 4 in 2020.
