JUMP FORCE DELUXE EDITION: Specs For The Nintendo Switch Version Of The Game Have Been Revealed

Just yesterday, Bandai Namco and developer Spike Chunsoft announced Jump Force Deluxe Edition, which — as the name appropriately implies — is a superior version of the original game; one that will be including all of the downloadable content that has been previously released.

While a deluxe edition of the game isn't something that would be considered impressive by any stretch of the word, what was impressive —or rather surprising, to be fair — was the fact that Jump Force Deluxe Edition was also announced for the Nintendo Switch.

We still don't have an official release date for Jump Force Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch, but the developers have reassured players that it will be releasing at some point later this year. Bandai Namco also shared a trailer that gave us a vague idea of what the game will look like on Nintendo's portable console.

Other than the trailer, however, we don't know how the game will run on the Nintendo Switch; that is, until now — as new information has revealed the game's specs on Nintendo's popular handheld hybrid system.

As revealed on Bandai Namco Japan's official website for Jump Force Deluxe Edition, the Nintendo Switch version will be running at 1080p when docked, and at 720p in portable mode; both aiming for a stable 30 frames per second, which is actually the same framerate the game has on home consoles.

Bandai Namco does seem to suggest that the game could experience some framrate drops every now and then, which is actually quite disappointing, but expected considering that not even the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of Jump Force offer a stable 30 frames per second.

For the first time ever, the most famous Manga heroes are thrown into a whole new battleground: our world. Uniting to fight the most dangerous threat, the Jump Force will bear the fate of the entire human kind. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Weekly Jump Magazine, the game is making the most of latest technologies to bring characters to life in a never-seen-before realistic design.

Jump Force Deluxe Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
