Since 22004, Bandai Namco's Katamari Damacy franchise has been entertaining players with its cute animation, infectiously catchy songs, and utterly out of this world premise. Playing as the tiny son of the King of all Cosmos, the tiny little character is tasked with rolling up objects to mend whatever celestial occurrence has taken place, depending on the game.
The franchise has been an enormous success, spanning multiple game consoles, most recently the Nintendo Switch, and even spanning to mobile gaming with a Temple Run style app. The most recent release, Katamari Damacy Reroll, came out only a couple of years ago but up until now has not been released on other consoles.

Recently, a brand new listing on Amazon has revealed that the title would, in fact be making its way tot he Playstation 4 and Xbox One as a physical release later this year! However, there has been no confirmation if Katamari Damacy Reroll will be coming to any of the new consoles as well.
Hopefully, the new release will help bring in even more fans to the franchise, and maybe even allow for a new addition to the franchise! WE would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!
The King of All Cosmos has knocked out all the stars in the sky after a particularly rambunctious night of fun. Realizing his mistake, The King has tasked his young son, The Prince, to go to Earth and roll up as many things as possible to recreate the missing celestial bodies. Paper clips, books, cars, buildings, mountains, and continents, nothing is too big or small for The Prince and his adhesive Katamari ball. Katamari Damacy REROLL will feature remastered graphics and cut scenes as well as new motion controls optimized for the Nintendo Switch. Using the left and right Joy-Con controllers while the Nintendo Switch is in TV mode or Tabletop mode, players can move The Prince around with ease by simply turning their wrists.
