Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an upcoming story driven action-adventure title being developed by independent studio Ember Lab, and published by Square Enix, which was revealed during the special PlayStation 5 presentation that took place in June of this year.
The announcement was rather vague, but the trailer itself was enough to catch most players' attention, as it looked like it would be giving players a cinematic experience, and its open world was nothing short of breathtaking.
According to the developers, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is currently in development for the PlayStation 5 as an exclusive title, although much information about the game was not really revealed; again, most of the information shared was the game's synopsis, and the trailer itself.
Today, however, things have changed, as Ember Lab have confirmed that Kena: Bridge of Spirits will also be releasing for the PlayStation 4. On top of this, the developer has announced that those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be able to upgrade it to the PlayStation 5 version completely free of charge.
The developer does mention that more information will be shared t a later date, so we will have to keep patiently waiting until we know more about Kena: Bridge of Spirits; so far, everything's looking great, and we can't wait to see what they reveal next.
