Kojima Productions Producer Appears To Confirm DEATH STRANDING 2 Will Be Hideo Kojima's Next Game

Over the past couple of days, renowned game director Hideo Kojima, best known for being the mind behind the Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding games, shared a series of cryptic images featuring mystery women — the most recent of which you can see here.

Yesterday, though, the Game Awards confirmed that the first of the mysterious ladies who will be starring in Kojima's next game is none other than actress Elle Fanning.

Following that confirmation, Kojima tweeted something that appears to indicate Fanning will be present with whatever Kojima's next game may be at the Game Awards in December while the second mystery woman has something to do with the PAX gaming convention.

In response, a producer at Kojima Productions tweeted using the respective hashtag for Death Stranding (via Gematsu). On the face of it, this seems to confirm the next project of Kojima's that's currently in the works at Kojima Productions, will star Fanning, and seemingly be revealed at the Game Awards is none other than a sequel to Death Stranding.

However, the producer quickly doubled back on their tweet, deleting it and subsequently posting that they simply forgot to add a question mark at the end of the hashtag.

Whether or not you believe that they're being genuine or doing damage control for their slip-up is your call.

Until December, it seems, all we can do is take their word for it.
