Since launching LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in April 2022, many have been wondering what developer TT Games has been up to. We've heard rumors that the studio is working on another LEGO title, and there are now new claims that it's supposedly a new LEGO Batman game.
Earlier this week, LEGO Games News claimed on social media that the next game from TT Games will be a LEGO Batman title inspired by the format of Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. However, there will be some major differences.
Whereas The Skywalker Saga completely rebuilt and overhauled the previously released LEGO Star Wars games dating as far back as 2005, the rumored LEGO Batman game will not be connected at all the the previous LEGO Batman trilogy.
The first LEGO Batman game was released in 2008 and followed Batman and Robin as they took on Gotham's rogues gallery. In 2012, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes introduced an open world format along with other DC heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman. 2014's LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham to the action into space and featured a massive roster of playable characters pulled from across from the DC Universe.

But apparently, none of these games will be connected to this rumored Skywalker Saga-styled LEGO Batman title. It also won't be an original story. Rather, it's claimed that the new game will let you play through previous Batman movies in LEGO form.
Responding to comments and questions, the leaker claims that the game will feature "one Gotham City" as its main hub. From there, you will be able to choose the era of Batman you want to play through.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga featured all nine films and allows players to begin playing from the start of any trilogy. Players wer also able to visit and explore dozens of planets from across the Skywalker Saga films.
Like Star Wars, Batman has a long history to pull from, so hopefully we can expect a similar breath of content. The leaker doesn't know exactly which movies will be included, although they sound pretty confident that Batman v Superman will not be part of the game.
TT Games has not made any official announcement yet, but it's believed that this LEGO Batman game could be announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, which will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT / 8 PM CEST.
