The Jennifer Ann Group's annual game design challenge -- aimed at promoting awareness of teen violence through gameplay -- has announced the winners for its 2013 competition. The Life.Love. Game Design Challenge calls upon developers to create a game for iOS, Android or HTML5 which educated players about teen violence and abuse, but without using violence within the game itself. First place went to Jean Hehn of Belgium, who will receive a $5000 US cash prize for Love in the Dumpster. In second place are Guts (Hima) Rodsavas and Piti Yindee of GPTouch from Thailand, with Janie's Sketchbook. Third place goes to Paul McGee, Sam Gross, Lyndsey Moulds, Ross McWilliam, and Kay Faraday of Ireland, with YourSpace. 99Uno of Argentina also receives an honorable mention for What kind of Monster is your Boyfriend?, which is available for play in-browser here.
