LITTLE NIGHTMARES II's New Gameplay Trailer Really Is The Stuff Nightmares Are Made Of

Bandai Namco and Tarsier studios officially announced Little Nightmares II in August of last year, which is a direct sequel to the original Little Nightmares that was originally launched in 2017; this time, introducing a new character, a new setting, and even scarier creatures.

While the first game took place in an underwater prison called The Maw, Little Nightmares II will take players to Pale City. Don't worry, though, the game will still manage to keep you on your toes, and feeling as confined as you felt when making your way through The Maw.

In Little Nightmares II, players will step into the shoes of a boy named Mono — although he really isn't wearing any shoes, but you get the idea — and will even be joined by Six, who is the first game's main protagonist; as they try to stop a mysterious transmission that has distorted their world.

Yesterday, Bandai Namco released an eerie gameplay video for Little Nightmares II, which gave players a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming horror game. They were not done, however, and today they have released part two of that gameplay, and it looks just as scary as the last one.

UPDATE: It was brought to my attention that the whole gameplay was also released by Bandai Namco, and the whole 15-minute-long video for Little Nightmares II will be posted right below the "Part 2" video, so don't forget to check it out; if you dare.

In a cruel world, a lonely boy finds a mission and a friend. Ride the line between excitement and terror as you run, jump, sneak, and fight your way through the Pale City and its Residents with Six by your side. Stop the Transmission before it can stop you, and you might survive.

Little Nightmares II is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on Thursday the 11th of February; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions to release at a later date.
