The League of Legends Esports World Cup 2025 is heating up as only four teams remain. After a dramatic and hard-fought Quarterfinals round, Gen.G T1, G2 Esports, and Anyone’s Legend (AL) have advanced to the semifinals, moving one step closer to the championship title.
The semifinals are set with the matches as:

Game 1: Gen.G controlled the early game with superior laning and teamfight coordination. Despite FlyQuest's resistance in the mid-game, Gen.G secured a critical fight at Baron and ended the game in 31 minutes.
Game 2: FlyQuest once again held even until the late game, but Gen.G found their stride, creating a gold gap and cutting off comeback opportunities. The game ended in 30 minutes, sealing a clean sweep.
G2 Esports Edges Out Bilibili Gaming 2-1
G2 Esports was the only team to qualify for playoffs via the group stage and continued their run by eliminating Bilibili Gaming in a close 2-1 series.
Game 1: Bilibili outmaneuvered G2 in key fights and secured Baron, taking the win after a 36-minute match.
Game 2: G2 turned things around with strong mid-game control and flawless execution around objectives, winning in 32 minutes.
Game 3: Both teams traded blows early, but G2 secured a mid-game lead and closed out the game with a late push, winning the series.
Anyone’s Legend Defeats Hanwha Life Esports 2-1
Gen.G Crowned 2025 League of Legends Esports World Cup Champions After 3-2 Finals Victory
Anyone’s Legend (AL) proved their mettle by defeating Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) in a back-and-forth 2-1 series.
Game 1: AL dominated early and mid-game fights, winning in just 25 minutes with a massive gold lead.
Game 2: HLE recovered with sharp objective play and clutch fights, stealing Baron and Dragon before winning in 38 minutes.
Game 3: A mid-game teamfight swung momentum back to AL, and they capitalized on their lead to end the game in 29 minutes.
T1 Overpowers Movistar KOI 2-1
T1 continued their pursuit of the title with a 2-1 victory over Movistar KOI (MKOI). Here is a short description of the games.
Game 1: T1 crushed MKOI with dominant laning and map control, finishing in 28 minutes.
Game 2: MKOI struck back with better coordination and clutch defenses, winning after a crucial mid-lane skirmish in 29 minutes.
Game 3: T1 pushed hard from the start, eventually winning teamfights and closing the game in 27 minutes with smart macro play.
