Phil Frazier, EA Sports' executive producer for the Madden NFL titles, has left the company, according to media reports. In a statement to games blog Kotaku, the company confirmed that the industry veteran is no longer at EA Sports. Frazier had worked on the Madden series for over 14 years. "We appreciate Phil's 14 years of work on the Madden franchise and recognize he was looking for a new opportunity," said the statement. "Our team is changing to tackle new opportunities and we're confident in the new organizational structure and leadership we have in place." Frazier took over his current role in 2008 when David Ortiz left the developer. Roy Harvey, the executive producer of NCAA Football, is set to take over from Frazier. Earlier this year, a number of EA Tiburon executives, including Madden 12 creative director Ian Cummings, left the company to form a new Florida-based online games developer called Row Sham Bow.
